Zinedine Zidane's son, Lucas Vazquez, has revealed that his father's former Real Madrid team-mate and current coach, Carlo Ancelotti, was "very disappointed" when he left the club to join Paris Saint-Germain.

Speaking to the Daily Mail, Vazquez said: "I think it is very clear that Ancelotti was very disappointed when I went to PSG. He always believed in me and I will never forget how much he supported me."

Ancelotti has since taken over as coach of Al-Nassr in Saudi Arabia, with Vazquez set to play for the club this season.

Vazquez also spoke about his own future at Al-Nassr,Football Full Service saying: "I'm really happy here. It's a great opportunity for me to continue playing football and I hope to make my mark here."

The midfielder has been linked with moves to several top clubs in Europe, but he has so far refused to confirm any potential moves.

Despite his success at Al-Nassr, Vazquez admits that he still has a lot to learn from his father, who won three Champions League titles with Real Madrid.

"I have learned a lot from my dad," Vazquez told the Daily Mail. "He taught me a lot about leadership and discipline, which is something that I try to apply every day on and off the pitch."
